Hello and Welcome!

My name is Bruce Marshall, and I am the proud owner of Florida Dog Guard. I'd like to help YOU benefit from my many years as a nationally certified canine instructor. Before opening Florida Dog Guard, I served as a Florida law enforcement officer in a large department, where I was responsible for helping maintain and operate canine teams throughout the State. I have trained many police canines and their handlers to proudly protect Florida and our nation's borders.

I received my canine instructor training at the National Canine Facility of El Paso, Texas. My training encompasses all aspects of canine training including, but not limited to: drug detection, obedience, illegal immigration detection and apprehension, lost or missing persons, and canine behavioral problems. I also have additional certifications from other nationally recognized canine organizations, colleges and universities.

I also own and operate a local canine training facility that offers basic obedience, advanced obedience, agility, rally and training for service and specialty dogs.

My many years of professional service have earned me the recommendations of many area vets, trainers, shelters and other canine professionals. As a trained expert on dog behavior issues, I often work with pet owners right in their homes, and in many cases can identify the cause of the problem and solve it in a single visit!

I am VERY proud of my team of trained professionals that help me design, install and service Dog Guard fence systems throughout Florida. Each and every one of my associates is an animal lover who has been thoroughly trained in the installation and use of Dog Guard products, as well as canine behavior and training, and is always ready to help or answer your questions.
